Vacation in Maine

Last day of vacation, and our two Labs decided to go exploring. The worst possible thoughts were running through my mind, realizing that we were supposed to leave the Rockwood area of Moosehead Lake early the next morning.

Panic and helplessness are two great mental demons, no matter what the situation. Not 60 minutes after our search, my cell phone rang. Alex, whoever you are, is an angel. Our girls were found by a large family with lots of kids and they called HomeAgain right away.

We are thinking of renaming our wandering females; "Lewis and Clark"!

  2. Verify that your contact information is correct and upload a recent picture of your missing dog, cat, or other pet.
  3. Create a Lost Pet poster using the uploaded photo.
  4. Send out Rapid Lost Pet Alerts to vet clinics, animal shelters, and PetRescuers within a 25-mile radius of where your pet was lost.

  1. Call 1-888-HOMEAGAIN (1-888-466-3242). Our Lost Pet Specialists are available 24/7.
  2. Explain the situation to your Lost Pet Specialist, who will create a Lost Pet poster using the most recent photo on your pet’s HomeAgain profile.
  3. Your Lost Pet Specialist will immediately send out Rapid Lost Pet Alerts to vet clinics, animal shelters, and PetRescuers within a 25-mile radius of where your pet was lost.
