We moved from LA to Northern California with our two manx cats, Hardwood and Lila Guy. Hardwood is 15 years old and rarely ventures outside. We had been here for about 3 weeks when Hardwood disappeared! We searched and searched the condo complex. We put up signs. We called the police and the humane society. After 6 weeks, we resigned ourselves to the probability that he had left to pass away. And then! Miracle of miracles! A call from the Marin Humane Society that Hardwood was at their shelter and they had tracked us through his microchip! We could not believe it. We are so happy to have him home. Ironically, he was picked up right on our street. He was dehydrated and emaciated, but we are nursing him back to health. What a trooper. Thank You HomeAgain!
