A Wilderness Miracle

My little Max was recovered within less than 48 hours due to the kindness of a complete stranger who found him 10 miles away near a wilderness area and brought him into the Dumb Friends League animal shelter in Castle Rock, Colorado. Upon his recovery, the shelter notified me via the data on his microchip and we picked the little guy up, who unfortunately suffered a broken leg from the ordeal.
Surgery will be performed tomorrow and the prognosis looks great. I am just so glad we have Max back again thanks to microchip technology, which I highly recommend to all pet owners. We are especially grateful for the continuous efforts of the vast network of animal shelters, vets and the kind hearts of those that recover lost pets and help reunite them with their owners. Thank you HomeAgain for playing a key role in helping bring our little Max back into our lives again!

  2. Explain the situation to your Lost Pet Specialist, who will create a Lost Pet poster using the most recent photo on your pet’s HomeAgain profile.
  3. Your Lost Pet Specialist will immediately send out Rapid Lost Pet Alerts to vet clinics, animal shelters, and PetRescuers within a 25-mile radius of where your pet was lost.
